Alicia Maratos (Environmental Engineering)
Alicia Maratos is a junior pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering at Florida International University. Her areas of interest include sustainability and engineering design. Alicia is the Vice President of the Water Environment Federation and American Water Works Association Student Chapter, the Business Lead of the Formula Society of Automotive Engineer’s motorsports team and the Hull Design Captain of the American Society of Civil Engineer Student Chapter’s Concrete Canoe team. She was officially inducted as part of the DOE Fellows Class of 2020 and is under Dr. Yelena Katsenovich’s mentorship. After graduation, Alicia plans to continue her education in a related field.
