As part of their summer internship at the Savannah River National Laboratory, DOE Fellows Sarah Solomon and Ripley Raubenolt are developing method for the accurate and efficient measurement of methylmercury using diffusive gradients in thin film (DGT) technology. This exciting research will help reduce the risks of contaminated soil, water, groundwater and sediment.
