Hannah Aziz is a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering at Florida International University. She is interested in pursuing research in the field of sustainability, carbon sequestration, and water reclamation technology. She is passionate about the environment and hope to make positive change as an environmental engineer. As a DOE fellow she is working under the mentorship of Dr. Hazenberg. Hannah also serves as the secretary for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and she is also an active member of Engineers Without Borders (EWB). When Hannah graduates from her Bachelors of Science degree she will continue her education and pursue a Master’s in Environmental Engineering.
