Mr. Joshua Nuñez is currently pursuing a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in mechanical engineering at Florida International University, and he is expected to graduate in spring 2019. Joshua is a member of the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society. Joshua’s professional interests include energy efficiency, nuclear engineering, and renewable energy sources. Upon graduating with his M.S. in mechanical engineering, Joshua plans to work in the private or government sector before returning to academia to pursue a Ph.D. in the same field.
DOE Related Projects
As a DOE Fellow for the DOE-FIU Science and Technology Workforce Development Initiative, Joshua will be conducting research for the Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management. He will be under the mentorship of Mr. Joseph Sinicrope, where he is going to be in direct support of the DOE-EM deactivation and decommissioning technology innovations.
