Josue Estrada (Mechanical Engineering)
Josue Estrada is an undergraduate student and a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Fellow completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Florida International University. He expects to graduate in fall 2021 and subsequently, to pursue a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. His professional and research interests include programming, mechanical design, robotics, and additive manufacturing. He is also personally interested in humanitarian assistance and sustainability projects and has experience working in nonprofit organizations. Josue is a founding member of FIU’s chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), for which he serves as the representative to the Council for Student Organizations.
