About DOE Fellow
Melissa Sanchez received a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering at Florida International University. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in December of 2010, she plans to continue her current studies to obtain her Masters degree in Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in Water resources. She is also interested in studying the possibility of reusing waste water and the new technologies to achieve this. Melissa is currently working at 30 Engineering Group as an engineering project manager.
DOE Related Projects
Currently, Melissa is working with Dr. Prabhakar Pant on uranium remediation of the 200 Area at the Hanford site in Washington State specifically on the vadose zone.
