
Rayhan Alcena (Computer Science)
Rayhan Alcena graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Florida International University (FIU) in 2024. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from FIU. Rayhan serves as both a Graduate Research Assistant and a Department of Energy (DOE) Fellow at FIU’s Applied Research Center (ARC). He is mentored by Dr. Himanshu Upadhyay. His interests are primarily software engineering and artificial intelligence. Upon receiving his master’s degree, Rayhan plans to work in industry.
His research is focused on the development of generative Artificial Intelligence technologies. He will aid in integrating these technologies onto the Deactivation & Decommissioning Knowledge Management Information Tool (D&D KM-IT).
