Sebastian Story (Mechanical Engineering)

Sebastian Story is an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with further plans to attain a Master’s degree. His interests span from mechatronics to mechanical design, with a focus on robotics and programming. Sebastian has worked on inspection tools for Hanford’s double-shell tanks (DSTs) and has contributed to other projects within the DOE complex. He is also growing under the mentorship of Anthony Abrahao, geared towards the development of devices and robotics. Sebastian is a member of the DOE-FIU Science & Technology Workforce Development Program and as a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Fellow, aims to create solutions that will advance society.
