Silvia Garcia (Biological Sciences)
Silvia Garcia is an undergraduate student pursing a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences with a minor in chemistry at Florida International University. She is also part of the FIU Honors College. Her professional interests include fate and transport of contaminants in the environment as well as environmental remediation. Silvia is currently working on research for the fate and transport of technetium and iodine in conditions relevant to the Four Mile Branch Wetland located at the Savannah River Site. Silvia anticipates graduating in December 2019 and is interested in pursuing a graduate degree.
