Stevens Charles (Civil Engineering)
Stevens Charles is an undergraduate student at Florida International University and a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Fellow seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Stevens plans to graduate in May 2022. His professional interests include hydraulics, sustainability and bioremediation. Stevens gained these interests during his time as a member of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) where he learned about certain challenging conditions in other countries. Stevens is also an active member of the National Society of Black Engineers and anticipates becoming a member of Tau Beta Pi in fall 2020.
