Alexis Suarez (Environmental Engineering)
Alexis Suarez is pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering and is expected to graduate in the spring of 2020. She plans to continue her education with a master’s degree in a related field. Her professional interests include ecological restoration, bioremediation and renewable energy. Her extracurricular activities include volunteering with beach cleanup efforts, participating in the Water Environment Federation student club, and leading the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists student organization as the president of the chapter. She is passionate about her ability to create a more sustainable and environmentally conscious community in the future as an environmental engineer.
