Alexis Vento (Environmental Engineering)
Alexis Vento is an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering at Florida International University. He expects to graduate in spring 2019 and plans on furthering his education with a master’s degree in environmental engineering. He is driven by green engineering principles and his interests include life cycle assessment, surface and groundwater modeling, bioremediation, and sustainability. As a member of the DOE Fellows program, he plans to incorporate his abilities and ideals to help find better solutions for the environmental problems we face today.
