Bryan Torres (Mechanical Engineering)
Bryan Torres is an undergraduate student at Florida International University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Department of Energy (DOE) Fellow. He is expected to graduate in the Spring of 2024 and plans to pursue a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering at FIU. His interests lie in thermodynamics and fluid dynamics, as well as materials testing. Under the mentorship of Mr. Joseph Sinicrope, he is working on a project, testing the application of intumescent foam technologies as plugs for pipes with radioactive residue.
